gdl-coyote software package provides GDL library from D. Fannings IDL courses, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gdl-coyote
gdl-coyote is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gdl-coyote package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gdl-coyote *
You will get with gdl-coyote package name, version, architecture and description in a table
